SGI (hereafter designated as SGI-N (non-dedicated CPUs) and SGI-D (dedicated CPUs))
SGI computer (16 Processors; clock 300 MHz;
CPU: MIPS R12000 Processor Chip Revision: 2.3;
FPU: MIPS R12010 Floating Point Chip Revision: 2.3; (mcbisgi.cem.msu.edu))

Two processor Linux PC (hereafter designated as 2CPU-HT (with Hyper-Threading) and 2CPU-NHT (without Hyper-Threading))
Two processor Linux PC (Red Hat 7.3; Intel Xeon, clock 2.66 GHz, 512 KB cache memory; 1 GB memory; two processors with Hyper-Threading Technology; four virtual processors (helios.bch.msu.edu))

employing the optimized geometry

As you can see, it makes sense to run parallely only DFT and HF jobs but not post-HF jobs.
